SiGMA Conferences
We are living in strange times with the ongoing pandemic but hopefully, we will soon be back to some kind of normality.
New normality also means that people from the iGaming industry can start to visit exciting conferences and expos again.
One of the leading event and media companies in the gaming industry is SiGMA. They recently re-branded themselves and also announced their upcoming events which are:
- Malta/Europe: 13-15 April 2021
- Manila/Asia: 27-28 May 2021
- Sao Paolo / Americas: 13-14 September 2021
- Cape Town / Africa: 22-23 March 2022
When writing this article in February 2021 the situation in the world is still a bit unsure so the dates for the Malta and Manila events might be a bit optimistic and could be changed and postponed.
What is SiGMA?
SiGMA started arranging iGaming conferences in Malta, Europe in 2015. The founder and mastermind behind SiGMA are Mr. Eman Pulis.
It made great sense to start arranging these events in Malta as the island is the base and hub for hundreds of online gaming companies in Europe.
The SiGMA events were a hit already after a few years and thereafter they moved it to an even bigger location in Malta.
Here is a great overview from the SiGMA event from Malta in 2018:
From its first years, SiGMA has grown the business from a handful of employees to more than 40 people working with the conferences and media at SiGMA today.
The company has also expanded from the Malta event to a full-blown media company that has a big presence on social media with daily news from the iGaming industry around the world.
Nowadays SiGMA also arranges several social gatherings and dinners during the year, mainly in Europe and Asia. And on top of this, they are also becoming an event organizer around the globe.
An impressive journey and we look forward to follow their continuous growth.
Why are these gaming conferences worth visiting?
The SiGMA events gather companies and individuals from all parts of the iGaming and land-based gaming industry. You will find everything from game and payment providers, operators, affiliates, media, and more at these events.
These conferences are a great place to expand your network and to do business in the different areas of gaming. They are also a lot of fun and there are different dinners and parties being arranged in the evenings and between all the networking.
The entry fee can vary but usually, it will cost you around €100/person for the whole event and the conferences lasts for 2 or 3 days depending on the location.
Definitely worth a visit if you are somehow involved in the gaming industry or if you want to learn more about it.
